Should I Use an Antimicrobial Detergent?

Have you landed to this page just to find out, which one is the best antibacterial laundry detergent? If so, I wanna save your time and direct you to what I found out to be the safest and most ecological one on today’s market: Rockin’ Green Soap Hard Rock

Ok, so let’s continue with the article. When loading the laundry into the washer, I’m not always sure that I’m getting rid of all the grime and dirt. The laundry always looks nice and clean, but I think there are dark and unpleasant secrets that can be found deep inside the fabric.

In case you didn’t know, the clothes you wear are most prone to infections. Due to the fact that it often carries a certain amount of moisture, your clothing is an area that is very susceptible to germs breeding, which means your favorite shirt might be an excellent breeding ground.

You may clean your clothes over and over again, but sometimes that’s not enough to get rid of all the microbes that are stuck in the fabric. I’m sure this fact bothers you, especially because these microbes are a source of disease or infection that you thought is already eliminated during the washing process.

What we need is an antimicrobial laundry detergent or soap so that we can be sure that our clothing is extremely clean and all the microbes that are able to harm our health are thoroughly removed from every garment we own. Using an antimicrobial laundry additive is the best option regarding maintaining high level of hygiene while keeping bacteria away from your clothing.

In order to get rid of bacteria, you can opt for one of the following options. Whatever you choose, you will have fresh and clean laundry.

    1. Antibacterial laundry detergent

This type of detergent contains chemical ingredients that reduce the overall amount of bacteria in your clothes. You can be sure that you will get a clean, and what’s more important, safe load of laundry. You should keep in mind one thing though: using an antibacterial laundry detergent is not a long-term solution.

    2. Antibacterial fabric softener

There are many different antibacterial fabric softeners with great cleaning properties that help in reducing the amount of bacteria in each piece of clothing you have. This softener is actually a simple liquid solution that can be added to your laundry load together with the laundry detergent you’re using. However, remember that not every fabric can be thoroughly cleaned by such fabric softener. Moreover, the softener components might clash with the detergent ingredients.

    3. Antibacterial laundry additive

What we have here is something totally different. The antibacterial laundry additive is used only for the antibacterial properties it offers. It’s probably the most practical option when it comes to keeping your clothes clean from bacteria, and yes, it’s a long-term solution.

Choosing the best product

As you can see, today’s market offers plenty of different antibacterial laundry products. Although it seems like choosing the best product is easy, I’m afraid it’s not that simple. Some products can be harmful, which is why you should stick to non-toxic products that will give you high stain removal performance with benefit of laundry disinfection. Make sure you choose an additive that fits the bill regarding ensuring that your clothes will be thoroughly cleaned and comfortable to wear.
